There is something wrong with the RAM usage. Sometimes the game slows down a lot and when I look at the task manager it takes like 10gb of RAM (all that was free) and becomes extremely slow. This seems to happen more as there is more spell casting going on especially light intensive spells. Also (but much less) more creatures.
I also noticed that poison/holy/death water and lava drain a lot of ressources (maybe because of their animations). Funnily if you use the 10x speed button around poison water the game becomes much slower and laggy than under normal speed. By the way jumping doesn't seem to work under really laggy conditions.
One particular weird behaviour is that pausing and unpausing the game leads to an extreme slowdown of the game. Sometimes my game takes like 30 sec until the screen moves again after unpausing. Even though the game was completely fluent before pausing and unpausing.
Some things I don't know whether they are bugs:
"* The Strengthen Familiar spell will now also buff a summoned familiar; no more need to resummon it to apply buffs."
I tried this with health regeneration and didn't apply. I Could do more testing for other power ups.
Also in my game there was something wrong with casting the familiar spell again. I would be able to get several familiars. I never tested the limits of that but in between I had like 4. At first I thought it is because they have different names (weak Navar, Navar, exceptional navar) as my spell level increased, but it also worked for the same name.
Summoning familiars and recalling within walls doesn't work (it used to just place them next to the wall in TW1) - but maybe that is intended behaviour.
I was able to completely remove the nameless one from the battlefield. I have no idea how - it was just gone after several high level shockwaves (in TW1 you could blast them outside the walls and then you still see them but here it was just gone). Weirdly That didn't work on Maevelin though.
* Can now specify spells allies are not allowed to cast in the Grimoire. Can also be set on an individual basis in a creature's Grimoire.
I found the button for that in my own grimoire. The problem was if I am not in a shop I am not able to see the whole grimoire - only spells I know. (I could work around that by doing all the settings in a shop but maybe make it possible or normal to see the full grimoire anyway). I also couldn't find the option in my allies so the individual basis didn't work.
Thank you so much for your update!
