Since the first version you get hit in melee by monsters on the other side of doors who you cant see and shouldn't be able to damage you. Perhaps make the door object wider to prevent the mobs from being close enough to melee you through the door. Not sure if its a hitbox thing or because the tips of your triangle can push through the door object a bit, but it can and will lead to unfair deaths with no recourse. Every trait I've seen that that reduces spellcasting speed actually increases it, actually making your character worse. I've had multiple attempts at running through the game and just been obliterated on the first floor by enemies able to cast through walls (despite me being unable to see them... not 100% sure but I remember being able to see enemies in TW1 on the other side of walls/doors unless it was a dark level.. now it seems thats just standard and you constantly run into stuff you cant see or prepare for) using undodgeable incantations that can be cast over walls, at high enough spell levels to 1 shot you. There is absolutely no counterplay to this and every time it happened I just feel bad and close the game and do something else.
